Allergen Information

In accordance with EU Regulation No 1169/2011 and the UK Food Information Regulations 2014, we are required to provide information on the 14 major allergens that may be present in our dishes.

Our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Cross-contamination is possible. If you have a severe allergy or intolerance, please inform us when booking and again upon arrival. A member of our team will discuss your requirements personally.

Cereals containing gluten

Wheat, rye, barley, oats and products thereof. Present in bread, pasta, pastry and sauces.

Crustaceans

Including prawns, crab, lobster and langoustine. Used in several seafood dishes and stocks.

Eggs

Including mayonnaise, pasta, pastry, sauces and dressings.

Fish

Including anchovy, cod, halibut, turbot and fish-based stocks or sauces.

Peanuts

Used occasionally in garnishes and desserts. Please always ask your server.

Soybeans

Present in some sauces and marinades.

Milk

Dairy is used extensively โ€” butter, cream, cheese, ghee. Vegan alternatives available on request.

Nuts (tree nuts)

Including almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pistachios. Used in desserts, garnishes and oils.

Celery

Including celeriac. Present in stocks, soups and some dressings.

Mustard

Used in dressings, sauces and marinades.

Sesame

Seeds and oil used in some dishes. Please enquire.

Sulphur dioxide & sulphites

Present in wine, dried fruit, some preserved goods and dressings. Above 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/litre.

Lupin

May be present in some flour products and pastry.

Molluscs

Including oysters, mussels, scallops and squid. Frequently featured on the menu.
